First Year Anniversary

11-23-07 Today is our first year anniversary! OMG! Though it has only been a year i feel we've been together like forever. Maybe because we really started as friends 4 years ago. Wow! And from the moment we met, we had a passion we both shared -- we have the same faith and from then on, every single day we spent together was special for us. That's why I feel it has been forever though 'tis only a year.

Our foundation is friendship. He's actually the one who's always sharing before because I was the shy type. I vividly remember our first 'friendly' date at KFC metroeast (haha). I ordered chicken strips meal (OMG! that was soo long ago, i;m not even sure if there's still such meal in KFC) and i think he ordered 1 pc chicken meal. Anyway, he told me everything he can share regarding his family. He was very spontaneous and witty. I was actually entertained by how he makes kwento, kakaaliw! Hehe! So there. He offered to take me home but as a dalagang filipina, I declined. Hehe! Told him I can manage. He was gentleman enough to respect that and bid me goodbye. His famous words when parting.. "bless you kat"

I got the name PotPot from him. I don't exactly know how he came up with that name but eversince he made that up, he called me katpot or potpot in school. Even our close friends called me potpot or katpot. Hehe.

Enough of the memories..

I'm very thankful to have him in my life. I really could not ask for more. He's a rare catch and I am too! ;p I'm glad we found each other. We've been through a lot also, so many not so good things that happened but we made it. We both became better individuals and we matured separately... and now we're maturing and growing together as a couple.

God is preparing us for a new challenge. I still don't know when and what the challenge will be but we are both praying for God's guidance.

When you wait for God's time, you can't imagine how He will reward you! One cannot fathom His idea of the word BEST for you, for us. You just cannot stop saying thanks and think if you really deserve to have that. Well, I did and so does everyone. Just wait in the Lord and have Faith in Him.
